A man from Florida said he would rather "go to jail" than at home. His wife was arrested Friday after being caught driving on a highway while she was sitting on the roof of her sunroof.
Leonard Olsen, 70, was arrested after a deputy on leave at the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office had recorded the man and reported him to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The MP said Olsen was accelerating to more than 100 km / h on the highway and that he was slowing down thereafter to 40 mph, WTSP reported. The man then got up and sat on his sunroof while the car was still moving.

After being stopped by soldiers, Olsen first denied that he was traveling on his sunroof, claiming he "knew nothing about it".
The man then told the authorities that he actually wanted to surrender himself, according to the same source citing law enforcement officials, because he did not want to return home to his wife, who according to him, did not treat him well.

Olsen told the police that his "wife treats me as a maid and that she is the mistress" and that he is "tired of that." The man added that he preferred "to go to prison than to go home".
His wish was granted and Olsen was arrested. After showing the video of him on the sunroof, he acknowledged his guilt and noted that the car was in speed regulation, according to WTSP.
"The car is autonomous and contains a gigantic computer," said Olsen. "I thought it would be a good way to praise God for a minute, and I thought it would be good at that time and that's what I did."
