A Florida officer under investigation after the video shows him hitting, violently striking the head of a black teenager.

Broward County sheriff's deputy was placed on "restrictive administrative assignment" as outrage grew over the weekend video that shows a white officer hitting the head of a black teenager on the floor and hitting him. The video shows how an officer seems to have pushed the teenager who had been sprayed with pepper spray before another MP slapped him and knocked his head a few times before knocking him in the head. MP Christopher Krickovich was ordered to surrender his weapon and badge while Thursday 's incident investigation was over.

The video has spread like wildfire on social media over the weekend. Many celebrities, including LeBron James, have shared it. "So wrong, it hurts my soul !! James tweeted.
"Thinking it could be my sons. Scary times man. CNN commentator Keith Boykin tweeted, "It's police brutality." Most social media posts about video are accompanied by a hashtag, #JusticeForLucca.

The authorities swore that they would do it conduct a thorough investigation. "I wanted to assure you that this incident is the subject of a thorough investigation," sheriff Gregory Tony said in a video statement Friday. "We will look at this as a fact-finding measure to ensure that we hold those responsible accountable." The Mayor of Broward County called for the Member's dismissal as seen in the video. "The behavior of these deputies from the Broward sheriff's office was scandalous and unacceptable," Broward Mayor Mark Bogen said in a statement. "The officer who jumped on the student, punched him and hit his head against the ground should be dismissed immediately."

Police responded to reports of a fight outside a McDonald's near a high school in Coral Springs. In a police report, Kirckovich defended himself by claiming that the officers were overwhelmed by 200 students "screaming, threatening and surrounding us, I had to act quickly, fearing to pinch or let a student potentially take arms my belt or my jacket. Kirckovich wrote that the 15-year-old boy had approached them while they were arresting another boy under the charge of the offense. Although the agent stated that the boy had an "aggressive attitude," the video seems to show that he was moving away from deputies after being sprinkled with pepper. The teenager suffered no serious injuries, according to the police report.
