According to reports of an arrest, the suspect, Jung Soon Wypcha, of St. Petersburg, Florida, also reportedly took her nose and stuck her fingers in ice cream jars at the Lu Lu ice cream shop.

Wypcha is also accused of spitting in the containers.

Indian shoreline police said all incidents were filmed by a surveillance video.

Wypcha has been charged with criminal mischief and violation of Florida's anti-spoilage law.

Paul Chiulli and his wife Beth, owners of Lu Lu, are devastated.

"Things like this can ruin our business … and can ruin your life," Chiulli said.

Police said Wypcha, owner of the Indian Shores food market, right next to Lu Lu, had used a shared bathroom to go to the ice cream shop five times in June.

Mr. Chiulli said the vandalism caused more than $ 2,000 in damage and that the store was forced to close for a day to clean and replenish fresh produce.

The owners indicated that they thought they had been targeted by Wypcha as a result of a dispute over parking spaces in their common grounds.

"We did not even know she was crazy," Chiulli said. "But I guess it's parking and we're popular."

Chiulli said that although he and his wife are extremely upset, they will not let vandalism ruin their livelihoods.

"We are part of this community and we will stay and be part of this community," he said.
