A former American Idol competitor died Saturday in a motorcycle accident at Millinocket.
Haley Smith, 26, died in the accident involving a vehicle while she was unable to negotiate a turn on Medway Road around 2 am, according to a report on WABI.
Smith, a native of Utah, appeared in season 11 of American Idol in 2012.
TMZ reports that Smith's father thinks that a deer could have caused the accident.
