A former Florida officer sentenced to 25 years in prison for the death of a failed motorist

Raja was convicted of manslaughter while he was armed with a firearm and attempted first degree murder in the death of Corey Jones. He has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for each count and his sentence will be served concurrently.

The former officer was in a burglary and was wearing street clothes when he came upon Jones, whose car had broken down on a motorway exit ramp in early October 18, 2015.
