The Chicago Bears' lineup is not quite definitive, but cuts have been made to reduce the initial 53 players.
It's officially the 1st week of the 2019 NFL season, my friends. The Chicago Bears have just five days to face their bitter rival Green Bay Packers on Thursday night.
On Saturday, the Bears reduced their roster to 53 for the regular season. Here is the current list
quarterbacks: Mitchell Trubisky, Chase Daniel
Running Backs: Tarik Cohen, Mike Montgomery, Mike Davis, Kerrith Whyte
Wide receivers: Allen Robinson, Taylor Gabriel, Riley Ridley, Anthony Miller, Cordarrelle Patterson, Javon Wims
Tight Ends: Trey Burton, Adam Shaheen, Bradley Sowell, Ben Braunecker
Offensive line: Charles Leno, Kyle Long, James Daniels, Cody Whitehair, Bobby Massie, Rashaad Coward, Ted Larsen, Cornelius Lucas
Defensive line: Akiem Hicks, Eddie Goldman, Bilal Nichols, Abdullah Anderson and Nick Williams
Inner Linebackers: Roquan Smith, Danny Trevathan, Nick Kwiatkoski, Joel Iyiegbuniwe, Josh Woods, Kevin Pierre-Louis
External Nodes: Khalil Mack, Floyd Leonard, Isaiah Irving, Aaron Lynch
cornerbacks: Kyle Fuller, Prince Amukamara, Buster Skrine, Duke Shelley, Kevin Toliver
Security: Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, Eddie Jackson, Deon Bush, DeAndre Houston-Carson, Sherrick McManis
specialists: Pat O'Donnell, Eddy Pineiro, Patrick Scales
With the cuts made by other teams, you must understand that the Bears are not finished yet. This list is not yet finalized, I am convinced that Ryan Pace and Matt Nagy will seek to add other players who have been excluded from their respective teams this weekend.
As an initial reaction, let's look at some good stories and ask some questions about some of the types that have been left out.
