Early Monday morning, 16 dairy cows entered the parking lot of the New Glarus Brewing Company in New Glarus, Wisconsin.

The beer of beer was filmed. Real Wisconsin cows have had the good idea to shop locally – Spotted Cow is a farm beer that can only be purchased in the state of Wisconsin.

"The spotted cows go to Spotted Cow's." When the safety officer called, "I thought it was a joke," CNN's chief of operations told CNN. Drew Cochrane Brewery.

The cows appeared in the security camera footage at 1:45 pm Monday. A hired security guard approached the brewery and saw the cows come together, said Cochrane.

The guard called the Green County Sheriff's Department to get reinforcements. Together, the sheriff's guard and officer brought the cows closer to the parking lot and used their cars to lock them up temporarily, said Cochrane.

The owner of the black and white spotted cows came to pick them up Monday morning. He sent them back to the farm, where they are safe at home.

"Our brewery is located on a hill, so I do not know how they got here – it's the craziest thing," Cochrane said.
