A look at Pixel Launcher adds reminders and tips for assistants

One of the most interesting features of Pixel Launcher is the Smart At-a-Glance widget that displays the date and weather most of the time, then displays important and up-to-date information when you need it. Currently, it is the ideal place for calendar events, upcoming flights and traffic conditions, but it is working on the addition of two other types of information.

The first are reminders. The widget already displays meetings and appointments from the agenda, but the other type of urgent need, namely reminders, is not displayed there. So, if you have one or one that was to arrive a short time ago, you will not see it in the widget. Soon, you will be able to do it. The toggle for activating reminders is live in At A Glance settings, but it does not seem to be up and running for the moment. No matter what we try, we can not do any reminder programs out there.

Left: Before. Right: After.

Another novelty: the button "Smart Tips" optimized by the Wizard, which is not yet operational either. All we know is what you see in screen capture, that is, not much. There can be simple "tips" on how to use your phone, enable DND service at work, or set application timers in Digital Wellbeing, for example. Or they could be the new way to see the context maps of the wizard, which have been inherited from Google Now.

We will keep an eye on these toggles and inform you if they are starting to post new and relevant information in the View widget.
