A look at the Met Gala, through Kendall Jenner’s camera

The Met Gala red carpet is one of the most photographed and discussed events of the year. But as soon as these celebrities walk into the dinner party, very few photographs are allowed, giving the affair an air of mystery. Yes, guests dine, see the exhibit, but wouldn’t we all love to be a fly on the wall to observe Erykah Badu, Lil Uzi Vert and Pete Davidson at the same table together? Well, thanks to Kendall Jenner and her camera, we can get a little glimpse of the real Met Gala halls.

The model, who wore a stunning see-through crystal Givenchy dress that paid homage to Audrey Hepburn, took her camera with her inside the party for the second time (the first was in 2018). Sure, she must have taken her good friend Gigi Hadid in her white Prada dress, but she also captured Justin Bieber’s surprise performance on the Temple of Dendur, Timothée Chalamet with Kid Cudi and the aforementioned trio of Badu, Vert and Davidson. (all of which Thom Browne wore). Someone else even stepped in to take a photo of Jenner with her (fully covered) sister Kim Kardashian. Looks like a good time! See the rest of the images below.
