BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) – A man wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat said that a Tennessee man had taken a gun out of a store and told him, "This is a good day for you to die.

According to press reports, police reacted on Saturday to a Sam's Club in Bowling Green, Kentucky, carrying a firearm. A police report says James Michael Phillips, 57, of Cottontown, Tenn., Was upset that Terry Pierce and his wife are wearing "MAGA" hats, referring to President Donald Trump's campaign slogan.

Pierce told WBKO-TV that Phillips had put his gun in front of his face, stepped back and said, "It's a good day for you to die." Phillips then left the store before being arrested.

Nobody was hurt.

Phillips was charged with endangerment and remained at the Warren County Regional Jail on Monday.
