When they were contacted for a comment, Wendy's representatives forwarded to Fox News the following statement on the story and confirmed that the clip man was a former employee.
"Our franchisee takes this incident seriously and is obviously totally unacceptable. It was a joke on the part of a person who no longer works in this restaurant and who clearly did not exercise good judgment, "the spokesman said.
