Police confirmed that a man had died after being shot in the head at a DeKalb apartment complex on Wednesday night.
He was shot dead at Oak Forest Apartments near Hatton Drive in Scottdale, DeKalb police told Channel 2 Action News.
The man, who was not named, was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital in critical condition and died shortly after arriving at the hospital, Channel 2 reported.
In August, a 10-year-old girl was hit in the arm by a stray bullet while she was sleeping in the same apartment complex, AJC.com reported.

No other details have been published regarding the death of the man on Wednesday. An investigation is underway.
