LAKE PLEASANT, AZ – A 20-year-old man died after being removed from Lake Pleasant on Monday afternoon.
Rescue teams were called to the scene around 4 pm
MCSO MPs said that the man was swimming when he started struggling and went underwater. When rescue teams arrived, they were able to locate the man and take him out of the lake.
They began taking rescue measures until the Peoria fire arrived at the scene and declared him dead.
The detectives of the lake patrol say that it is an active investigation.
The man is not identified at the moment.
