A Florida man was convicted of the murder of his wife in 1993, whose son, then a toddler, witnessed and found the body of his mother buried 21 years later.

According to the Florida Times-Union, a jury found Michael Haim guilty of second-degree murder on Friday for killing 23-year-old Bonnie Haim.

Aaron, their 3-year-old son, told the police that his father had shot his missing mother, but no body was found and Michael Haim was not charged.

Now known as Aaron Fraser after his adoptive family, he subsequently won a lawsuit for wrongful death against his 53-year-old biological father and got his home.

Fraser was retiring the pool in 2014 when he found the remains of his mother. Haim was soon arrested.

Haim could be seven, but prosecutors want a life sentence at next month's hearing.
