According to reports from China and Taiwan, as well as accounts of eyewitness accounts on social media, an unidentified man in Hong Kong was beaten in front of a theater this week for shouting
Avengers: End of the game spoilers.

The photo (top and bottom) shared online claims to show the bloodied man receiving care after the incident. According to witnesses, he began giving conspiracy points just after leaving the theater, spoiling them for fans waiting for the next performance.

Asia One reports that in some of the original versions of the story, some online Marvel fans have responded with support … or to people who have beaten it. "He served his just desserts" and "felt good to see this" were some examples.

Directors Joe and Anthony Russo have made several calls to the fan base not to spoil the film for those who have not done so yet. These calls included an open letter posted on Instagram.

"When you see
End of Game in the coming weeks, do not ruin this for others, just as you would not want it to spoil you, "they wrote.

We can only assume that the man in the photo did not listen. Or, if it can be a hoax, it can be assumed that the hoax was meant as a lesson or a warning. This warning: #DontSpoilTheEndgame … otherwise.
