A man released from prison after 30 years of rape again charged

A Massachusetts man who spent three decades in prison for a rape that he says he did not commit until he was released in 2016 is now accused by police of raping a woman in January.

According to the Republican newspaper, George Perrot, 50, is scheduled to appear Monday in the Essex Superior Court on charges of rape and other charges in connection with an incident at Lawrence on 4 August. January. He pleaded not guilty.

Perrot is detained without bail. It is unclear whether he has a lawyer who could answer the allegations.
