BUCKSPORT, Maine – Court documents indicate that a Maine motel owner accused of mistreating three children tied a 6-year-old girl and hung her on a hook as punishment.
An affidavit filed in court indicates that the assaults took place at the Spring Fountain Motel in Bucksport, while the owner was watching the three siblings while their mother was at work.
Kaleem Adnan, who passes for "Danny," denies having harmed the children and says that they had invented lies against him because he had cut off cable TV and video games.
He faces charges of criminal assault as well as charges of opioid. Adan, who is scheduled to appear in court in June, said he was planning to defend himself.
