LOS ANGELES (AP) – A woman suspected of murder was arrested after the body of her 9-year-old daughter was found in a sports bag at the edge of an equestrian trail in the suburbs near Los Angeles, authorities said Monday.

Taquesta Graham, 28, should be charged with murder on Wednesday, Los Angeles County Sheriff's officials said.

Prosecutors accused Graham's boyfriend, Emiel Hunt, of the murder of Trinity Love Jones.

The dead girl was found on March 5 at the bottom of an embankment in the suburb of Hacienda Heights. She was wearing panda pants and a pink shirt with the inscription "Future Princess Hero".

There was no obvious sign of trauma to his body. The authorities have not revealed any cause of death or motive.

Graham was extradited from Texas to California last week and was originally sentenced to a warrant for arrest. Graham was in custody on Monday and could not be reached for comment.

Hunt, 38, has already been sentenced for child abuse since 2005 in San Diego County, prosecutors said. His appearance is scheduled for April 16.

Friends and family members described Trinity as a happy and talented girl who did well in school. A memorial near the place where his body was found contained stuffed animals, heart-shaped balloons, dozens of votive candles and notes expressing love for Trinity, as well as a monument saying, "Rest in paradise, princess".
