A mother arrested for driving with her children in the rooftop pool of her car | WBNS-10TV Columbus, Ohio

A mother from Illinois was arrested after the authorities announced that she was driving with her children in a rooftop pool of her vehicle.

The Dixon Police Department said it was informed by a worried citizen about the vehicle on Tuesday.

Officers discovered that the vehicle was traveling with a blue inflatable pool on the roof and two miners inside.

The police blocked the traffic and spoke to Jennifer A. Janus Yeager, 49, a female driver.

The officers were told that Yeager had gone to town to inflate the pool at a friend's house and had her two daughters climb inside the empty pool to hold her back.

Yeager has been put under arrest for two counts of endangering the health or life of a child and two counts of reckless conduct.

She was also cited for failing to board a passenger aged 8 to under 16 years old.

Yeager was taken to the Dixon Police Department where she was treated and released after posting a bond.
