If you have not seen Downton Abbey's movie yet and want all the stories to be a surprise, proceed with caution, indulge yourself!
Downton AbbeyThe Dowager Countess, played by the inimitable Maggie Smith, never met a madwoman she could not crack. But based on the last Preview Preview of the next Downton film, it seems that the matriarch Crawley has reached a relaxation with the enemy. (Well, at least for the moment.)

"Well, who do you think I am, a virgin aunt who has never left the village?"
"Obviously not," admits Lady Bagshaw.
The subject of the discussion seems to be Lucy Smith, Lady Bagshaw's maid. Bagshaw explains that she will soon hire another maid and keep Lucy as a companion. His reasoning for this is not explained, but the countess seems to agree that it is the right decision, saying that it is "much more appropriate".
But that's not all: Lady Bagshaw also reveals that Lucy and Tom Branson, husband of the late Lady Sybil, have "agreed to correspond." It is a decision that the Countess can take without hesitation, saying that she will lick the stamps herself.
Again, DowntonThe indefatigable Dowager Actress receives the last word and returns to Lady Bagshaw after learning that she has not won. "I do not believe in defeat," she says.
