If that’s true – which, and let’s be honest here, looks like it is – this will be OnePlus’ first fitness tracker. So, what will it be called? Well, Android Central believes it will be known as the OnePlus Band, a name I would give a solid 7/10. Description, of course. Exciting? Less then.

There isn’t a lot of official information (read: none) on the OnePlus fitness tracker, but luckily some leakers have been here to do God’s work and give us all the tasty details. In terms of specifications, the Twitter user Ishan Agarwal got my hands on a bunch of information, which you can see here:

There you have it, my friends, a hell of a selection of specs for a fitness tracker, but do you know what’s even better? That supposed price converts to around $ 35 – a similar price to Xiaomi’s Mi Band 5, a market segment that the OnePlus fitness tracker obviously targets.
Aesthetically, we also have a strong indication of what the OnePlus Band will look like:

Yes, the OnePlus fitness tracker looks like almost every other fitness tracker, but what do you expect for $ 35? Fireworks? A holographic screen? Wheels? It’s a bit of functional tech to do a solid job.
In terms of a release date, there is no official announcement. Agarwal believes it will launch in India on Jan.11, and other experts are predicting a more global release in the first quarter of this year. All we know for sure is that the OnePlus fitness tracker is poised to make an already competitive segment busier than ever.
