A missing Pennsylvania woman since Valentine's Day has been found safe, police said on Tuesday.

"Katie Stoner has been found safe and sound Thank you all for your help Excellent work to all The case is closed No suspicious game is suspected," wrote police Kittanning District in a statement, without further details.

On Sunday, Kittanning police said that Stoner's ex-boyfriend, John Eugene Colbert, had been identified as a person of interest for the disappearance of this 27-year-old woman.

Police said Colbert, 30, of New Castle, located about 50 km west of Kittanning, was also wanted by other law enforcement agencies. They did not say Tuesday when he was apprehended by one or the other of these agencies.

Police said that when Stoner disappeared, she had a cut in her left eye and burn marks on her wrists.
