A person killed in a shooting on Saturday morning

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Colorado Springs police are investigating a shooting that occurred early Saturday morning. This allegedly happened near South Chelton Loop and East Bijou Street in Colorado Springs.

Police said they received calls around 3 a.m. about a traffic accident that resulted in a shooting. One person was dead at the scene.

Roads are blocked while crews investigate the incident and crews ask people to use alternate routes.
