A plane crashes into Ohio, a dead: the FAA

A twin-engine Piper PA-31 aircraft crashed in a home near Madeira, Ohio on Tuesday afternoon, killing at least one person, a local fire chief said.

It was not known immediately how many people were on board, however, every person living at home was found and is safe, including two dogs, said Steve Ashbrook, District Fire Chief in Indianira.

The plane struck a renovated extension of the house, destroying about half of the house, Ashbrook said.

FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) investigators visit the scene.
