Brooke Jones-Story, an Illinois State Police soldier, had his family of policemen, his family CrossFit, the farm animals that she had rescued – roles in many communities who already lose it, according to his relatives.

Jones-Story was born in March 1985 in Monroe, Wisconsin, from Mark and Carol Jones, both of whom survive her, according to her obituary published in Leamon Funeral Homes. She has two living brothers and sisters, two stepchildren and a grandchild.
She graduated from Warren High School in 2003 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in 2006, according to her obituary. She joined the Illinois State Police as a cadet in June 2007, and then spent her entire career in the same district in Pecatonica, according to the ISP.
"Throughout his FAI career, Trooper Jones-Story has been recognized for his hard work, positive attitude and growing leadership among his peers," police officials said Saturday.
The public tour will take place Tuesday from 4pm to 8pm, with a police visit at 6pm at Warren High School, at 311 S. Water Street.
