The sounds of slamming lips and sizzling chicken were briefly interrupted by an enthusiastic a cappella group at a Chick-fil-A in Nashville earlier this month.
In a Facebook shared video on July 4, dozens of members of the Acapella Ministries Institute of Church Cultists sing – in particular, Bill Withers' "Lean on Me" – in the Chick-Filch dining room. To the delight of unsuspecting fast food customers and members of the service team.

At the end of the clip, clients and staff teamed up to have fun, sing and applaud along with the performance.
Customers and staff joined the song to impressively sing Bill Withers' "Lean on Me" group.

The video, originally shared by Jake Jones, had gathered close to a million views on Monday.
"Impressive! Glory to God! These are my brothers!" Wrote one speaker.
"I have chills!", Added another.

Jones told Fox News that the group was attending the Acappella Ministries Institute of Cult Leaders in 2019, where it aimed to learn more effective ways to lead worship groups by singing.
"Every time you bring together a group of a cappella leaders, it's hard for us not to sing together," says Jones.
Jones added that this interpretation of "Lean On Me" was arranged by Acappela President Keith Lancaster as a four-part harmony.
"The flash mob was meant to encourage customers and employees of Chick-Fil-A," says Jones. We noticed that every time we do something like this, people comment on the videos saying, "That's exactly what I needed," "We need more of this" and " Why can not we have more in the world? " ? & # 39; We never know who will be affected by this.
"We believe that our mission in life is to spread the wonderful news of God through the talents and gifts that He has given us," he added. "What better way than to blackmail people!"

It would not be the first time that a group of talented singers chose Chick-fil-A for a spontaneous performance. In July 2018, singers attending the same conference treated clients of a Chick-fil-A – also in Nashville – into a richly-sounding version of Hezekiah Walker's "Every Praise."

"This year, we were too many to be part of a single Chick-fil-A." We split into two groups, "said Jones, who said that about 90 members traveled to the event, which drew participants from around the world.
