As parents of toddlers know, nature does not always call at the right time.

Brooke Johns was driving to Augusta, Georgia, when his 3 year old son told him that he was in urgent need of a bathroom. She parked in a parking lot at the gas station, only to realize that she would not go to the restroom.

He said, "Mom, I'm about to pee in my pants! "," Johns told CNN's subsidiary

WRDW.

Johns was 34 weeks pregnant and could not carry her son, Cohen, to the bathroom. So she tried to cover her son as best as she could while he was pissing on the parking lot.

"He was pissing before his pants were completely down, so he obviously had to leave," says the mother, who lives in Beech Island, South Carolina.

But law enforcement was not so friendly.

A deputy Richmond County Sheriff witnessed the March 29 incident and cited Johns for disorderly conduct.

"She allowed her male child to urinate on the parking lot.I observed the genitals of the man and his urination," he explained on a copy of the ticket obtained by WRW. "Public toilets are offered at the location."

The Richmond County Sheriff's Office told CNN on Monday that no one was available to comment.

Johns incurs up to 60 days in jail and a fine of $ 5,000.

The mother, who is expecting a little girl next month, plans to appear in court on April 30 to challenge the quote, just days before the scheduled date.

"Accidents happen." And (the officer) was like: "Take him to the bathroom." And if I'd run into the bathroom and somebody One had gone there? What would I let him do? A pee on the floor of the gas station? "Johns said.
