A Republican from North Carolina at the Center of Fraud Investigation Calls for a New Election

RALEIGH, NC – Republican Republican candidate Mark Harris, whose campaign is at the center of an investigation into fraud, called for new elections on Thursday.

McCrae Dowless Jr., a contractor he personally hired, and a network of employees compromised the integrity of the vote. According to testimony this week, workers have been collecting mail ballots – a violation of state law – and have sometimes supplemented or signed them as witnesses while they do not. had no reason to do it.

Mr. Dowless, who has not been charged with any crime, refused to testify before the state board.
