John Earnest, the 19-year-old suspect who killed Saturday in the synagogue near San Diego, presented himself as a martyr to the whites and was inspired by the massacre of the New Zealand mosque last month, according to a letter open hate filled online.
Authorities accuse Earnest of killing a woman and injuring three people when he allegedly opened fire during Passover services at the Chabad of Poway in Poway, California. He was arrested after the shooting.
In the manifesto – which was posted on an Internet forum and attributed to Earnest -, the author stated that he hated "anyone who seeks to destroy my race," reported the San Diego Union-Tribune newspaper. He apparently admitted to setting fire to a mosque in Escondido. and backed the suspect from Christchurch, New Zealand, whom Fox News declined to name, claiming that the suspect's alleged killings last month of 50 Muslim worshipers had inspired him.

The New Zealand suspect "was a catalyst for me personally, he showed me that it could be done, and that it had to be done," says the author, according to the New York Post.
There are also several passages from the New Testament of the Bible, used to justify his convictions, as well as anti-Semitic remarks, the newspaper said.

"My God understands why I did what I did," says the author, adding that he plans to watch filming on Facebook, as well as a video of the March 15 bombing in New Zealand. But a Facebook spokesman said that no evidence of a video related to the shooting at Poway had been found.
An account linked to the letter has been deleted. the spokesman said.
Earnest's father retired as a high school physics teacher in 2016 and was a lifeguard in San Diego, according to the Post. Joyce Daubert, who taught alongside the elder Earnest, has had many meetings with the family.
"I do not have enough words to say how beautiful the family is," she said during a phone interview with the newspaper on Saturday afternoon. Daubert met the young Earnest only at teacher gatherings, but described him as "charming, really impressive, and so kind and so kind".

The young Earnest of San Diego's Rancho Penasquitos community is enrolled at California State University in San Marcos. University president, Karen Haynes, confirmed Earnest 's registration and indicated that the school was cooperating with the investigators.
The author of the letter claims to "succeed well" in a nursing school and proposes to describe himself as "a normal type who wanted to start a family, help and care for people and play the piano".
