A small plane crashed Thursday morning on Highway 50, near Freeway Airport in Bowie, Maryland, injuring two people and blocking traffic for miles around.
According to the authorities, it appears that the plane took off from the nearby airport when it crashed against a car on the highway shortly before 11:30.
Two people who were inside the car that was hit were rushed to hospital with minor injuries, according to the Prince George County Fire and EMS. Two people who were inside the plane were assessed for injuries but refused to be taken to the hospital.
The traffic cameras show a small plane on the side of Highway 50, on Church Road, next to big debris and a silver car whose front is crushed.

State soldiers said they had responded to the accident at 11:20, adding that drivers should expect significant delays on Route 50 in both directions at the scene. from the accident.
