BLOUNTSVILLE, Alaska (WKRG) – An Alabama substitute teacher was arrested after a firearm was fired in a classroom filled with elementary students. According to the Blount County Sheriff's Office, a student "received very minor injuries, but was treated on the scene and released."

Blount County Sheriff's Office Says Henry Rex Weaver, 74 "illegally carried a small caliber firearm" at Blountsville Primary school. The shot went off in his pocket.

Weaver is charged with possession of a deadly weapon on school grounds and aggravated assault 3rd degree and dangerous endangerment.
