SARASOTA, Fla. (WFLA) – A video released Thursday by the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office shows the accident that injured five performing artists in a human pyramid act in 2017.

Eight people were training for the show when one person lost balance, causing the others to drop 20 to 25 feet in February 2017.

Five people were injured and at least two victims are members of the Wallenda family.

Nik Wallenda served as anchor to the pyramid but did not fall.

All the victims survived, but the doctors said they were lucky to be alive, given the magnitude of their fall.
