During the May 31 shootout meeting, Mann asked to speak freely and commented on the supervisor, Wendy Swallow. "Wendy Swallow reported that Elizabeth Mann had threatened her at a meeting at work," an officer wrote about the criminal complaint, the newspaper said. "Ms. Swallow said she was worried about her safety, the threat indicated that your supervisor type would make someone shoot people."
Virginia Beach spokeswoman Julie Hill has confirmed the termination of Mann by Fox News.
"The city has opened an investigation in accordance with the applicable policy regarding the prevention of violence as a result of allegations relating to what happened at the workplace," Hill said in a statement. .
Swallow and four city employees took protections against Mann, who faces a one-year prison sentence and a $ 2,500 fine.

Mann is the second employee of the City of Virginia Beach to face a disturbing accusation after mass shooting. Jonathan McIvor raised his voice when asked why he would not return to work in the same building where the massacre took place.
