The woman accused of helping her boyfriend to murder his wife, a Staten Island teacher, is six months pregnant, prosecutors said Friday when they were charged with murder.
Ayisha Egea, 41, carrying Michael Cammarata's child, allegedly helped him murder Jeanine Cammarata, burn his body and hide him in a warehouse in Arden Heights.
The storage room was stocked with air fresheners in an attempt to alleviate the smell of its rotting flesh, said a police source.
The lovebirds are accused of murder, concealment of a human corpse and falsification of evidence in the death of Cammarata, whose charred remains were found Thursday.
They were sentenced to be detained without bail.
