PITTSBURGH – The Pittsburgh police opened an investigation after a woman reported to the hospital Friday morning after being shot.
Investigators said the woman was taken to the hospital by two friends around 3:10 am.

At about the same time the victim arrived at the hospital, police received a call for shots fired near a community center on 27th Street and Jane Street on the south side. When the officers arrived, they found a building shot down.
The police are trying to determine if the two scenes are linked.
The investigators did not reveal the condition of the victim.
