A woman from Palo Alto is fired after shouting at and the old man in MAGA hat

A woman confronted and later an elderly man drinking coffee in a Starbucks in Palo Alto simply because he was wearing a MAGA hat, which resulted in him losing his job.

According to Palo Alto Online, Rebecca Parker Mankey described the whole encounter in a message on Facebook, explaining how she screamed in the face of the old white man and described it as "hating brown people" and "Nazi scum" because from his MAGA hat. In her Facebook message, she interrogated the man by posting photos of him and asking if anyone knew where he lived, saying that she wanted to know where her kids were going to be. school and where his wife lived. Concerned people on Facebook were alarmed by Mankey's message and then reported his charges to his workplace. Mankey told Palo Alto Online on Tuesday that she had been fired from her accounting position at Gryphon Stringed Instruments and had received several death threats.

Palo Alto Online did not reveal the old man's name as "he did not harass anyone". However, the publication revealed that he was Jewish and 74 years old. The man told Palo Alto Weekly that Mankey's description of the events on Facebook was accurate, that he was not afraid of Mankey, and that his actions testified to the serious lack of speech in the United States.

In a Facebook post, the former Mankey employer, Gryphon Strings, announced that he had ended Mankey and that he was not tolerating such behavior on the part of his employees.
