The winning ticket was sold at a KC store in Simpsonville, South Carolina. The winner allowed another customer to cut the line in order to buy a ticket, previously reported Fox News. Charities such as the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Columbia and the Alabama Red Cross Society's Tornado Relief Fund will receive donations from the lottery winner, the Washington Post reported.
South Carolina will receive $ 61 million in income taxes with the jackpot. The store that sold the ticket will receive a $ 50,000 bonus.
