Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers made a brief appearance during the Sunday night episode of "Game of Thrones".

Rodgers teased fans last week, claiming he would appear in the penultimate episode of the series, "The Bells." After the broadcast of this episode, fans shared Rodgers' cameo on social media – but not everyone agreed.

Fans have reduced Rodgers' cameo to two scenes. At the premiere, he was seen as an archer of Lannister's army preparing for the Battle of King's Landing. Fans said he was standing in third formation from the right.

But others say they spotted twice NFL MVP while Daenerys Targaryen rides his last dragon, Drogon, and burns the city and its inhabitants, including Rodgers.

Fans also aired images of Rodgers in full costume and on set, outlining his role for the making of the episode.

"I was helping a woman who was injured to drop her, and then, damn it, with her, I'm getting away with it," Rodgers m said.

But in either role, the fate of this 35 year old man probably stayed the same, while Daenerys and Drogon destroyed King's Landing, shaking many of the city's soldiers and civilians with the breath of their dragons.

While it was unclear whether Rodgers had made several appearances in this episode, the so-called "King of the North" posted on Instagram a picture of himself in a suit with a message thanking the show.

"It was just for a few seconds, but I'll always be grateful to have participated in the penultimate episode of @gameofthrones," wrote Rodgers.

Rodgers is the last of the series' prestigious appearances, including the ill-received appearance of Ed Sheeran, New York Mets pitcher Noah Syndergaard and actor Rob McElhenney of "Always Sunny in Philadelphia".
