Outside of New England, many fans are waiting for Tom Brady to finally give in to Father Time. Aaron Rodgers does not think that they should hold their breath.
Rodgers, the future quarterback of the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame, was asked about the longevity of 42-year-old Brady on Tuesday when he appeared in "The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz". Rodgers, who is in the middle of his 14th season in the NFL, was asked to say, like everyone else, figuratively: "What is that mess?" As for the high-level, Brady continues to play two games in his 20th season as a Patriots scorer.
"Yes," said Rodgers, a most valuable player in the league twice. The game Rodgers was referring to was New England's 41-14 defeat against Kansas City in the fourth week of the 2014 season. New England, however, had other projects in mind. They lost just two more games the rest of the season by winning their first Super Bowl in a decade in an exciting match against defending champion Seattle Seahawks. The Patriots have since won two more Super Bowls and are now attempting to join the Dolphins and Bills from the early '90s to the early' 90s as the only NFL history teams to appear in four consecutive Super Bowls .
In addition to his year-round conditioning and TB12 diet, the way the Patriots continued to surround Brady with talent – on both sides of the ball – helped extend his career.
