The Packers quarterback announced Tuesday that he will be one of the guest hosts of “Jeopardy!” following the death of Alex Trebek.

“One of my idols growing up was Alex Trebek,” Rodgers said Tuesday on the “Pat McAfee Show.”

“They are making a few guest accommodations and it will be posted here very soon, but I have the opportunity to make one.”

Rodgers appeared in an episode of “Celebrity Jeopardy!” in 2015 and won, earning a donation of $ 50,000 to the charity of their choice. He poked fun at his wardrobe choice for the game show Tuesday on the McAfee show, calling it “not the best choice.”

Another old “Jeopardy!” winner, Ken Jennings, guest on Monday night on the first show since Trebek’s death in November after a battle with pancreatic cancer.

“I haven’t seen Ken [Monday] at night I was watching a movie and I also signed up for the college football championship for a little while, ”Rodgers said. “But I’m excited about this opportunity with ‘Jeopardy’.”
