ROCKVILLE, Md. – Prosecutors have dropped a criminal case against a Maryland woman accused of assaulting White House advisor Kellyanne Conway during a clash last year in a Washington suburban restaurant. .

Last November, police charged Inabinett with second-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

In an interview with CNN earlier this year, Conway said she was standing next to her school-age daughter and some of her daughter's friends when the woman started shaking her up "to the point that I thought someone might kiss me. " She said that she felt "weird" and "a bit aggressive", so she went back to face the woman.
"She was just upset, she was out of control," she said. "His whole face was terror and anger."
