ABC has firmed up its mid-season lineup, setting premiere dates for the new series Rebel, home economics and Perfect dog and set new return dates in March for his Thursday dramas.
Grey’s Anatomy, station 19 and A million little things who were originally scheduled to return from the winter break on March 4, will now be back on March 11. The extra week is provided as an extra cushion amid unpredictable production disruptions and delays during the pandemic.
New drama Rebel, starring Katey Sagal and created by Krista Vernoff inspired by the life of Erin Brockovich today, will join ABC’s Thursday lineup starting April 8. He will replace the 10 pm presenter. A million little things which will return to its old time slot of Wednesday 10 p.m., succeeding For life after the end of its 10-episode season 2.

With Shondaland’s Station 19 at 8 p.m. and Grey’s Anatomy at 9 p.m. as well as Rebel At 10 p.m., ABC will spend an entire night with the same executive producer / showrunner, Vernoff, who directs all three series.
With Topher Grace, new comic series Domestical economy will join ABC’s Wednesday Night Comedy Block, which premieres April 7. He will succeed the veteran American housewife, which has a season order of Season 5 of 12 episodes.
On the unscripted side, new dog grooming contest in eight episodes Perfect dog, organized by Rebel Wilson, will take over the time of Tuesday 8:00 p.m., currently at the Tell the truth, March 30.
ABC has just experienced a steep decline, ranking for the first time in 20 years as the most watched entertainment network.

PERFECT POCKET
Hosted by award-winning actress Rebel Wilson, “Pooch Perfect” is a series of dog grooming competitions. The eight-part series will feature 10 of the country’s top dog groomers, along with their assistants, taking part in a series of themed challenges.
Each week on “Pooch Perfect,” teams will participate in the Immunity Puppertunity Challenge, where one team will gain elimination immunity. Then, in the Ultimutt Challenge showdown, the remaining teams will compete against each other in an epic grooming transformation, which they will show off in the illustrious dogwalk. The trio of all-star celebrity judges – Lisa Vanderpump, Jorge Bendersky and Dr Callie Harris – will be tasked with voting on the incredible creations and ultimately forcing a team back to the niche every week. This all leads to the season finale where the top three teams compete for a huge cash prize and the coveted “Pooch Perfect” first place trophy.
“Pooch Perfect” is produced by Beyond Media Rights Limited. Elan Gale, Sonya Wilkes and Rebel Wilson are the executive producers. Nicole Anthony, Mike Rosen, Carley Simpson and Matthew Silverberg are co-executive producers. ABC’s “Pooch Perfect” is based on the Australian format.
DOMESTICAL ECONOMY
Starring and produced by Topher Grace, “Home Economics” takes a look at the heartwarming but super uncomfortable and at times frustrating relationship between three adult siblings: one in the 1%, one from the middle class and one barely holding on. The comedy is inspired by the life of writer and executive producer Michael Colton.
The series stars Topher Grace as Tom, Caitlin McGee as Sarah, Jimmy Tatro as Connor, Karla Souza as Marina and Sasheer Zamata as Denise. Shiloh Bearman as Gretchen, Jordyn Curet as Shamiah, Chloe Jo Rountree as Camila and JeCobi Swain as Kelvin.
“Home Economics” was created by writers Michael Colton and John Aboud. They serve as executive producers alongside Topher Grace and Eric and Kim Tannenbaum of The Tannenbaum Company, of which Jason Wang will serve as co-executive producer. The series is produced by Lionsgate and ABC Signature. ABC Signature, alongside 20th Television, is part of Disney Television Studios.
REBEL
Inspired by the life of Erin Brockovich today, Annie “Rebel” Bello is a blue-collar lawyer without a law degree. She’s a funny, messy, bright, fearless woman who desperately cares about the causes she fights for and the people she loves. When Rebel applies to a fight she believes in, she will win at almost any cost.
