ALAMEDA, Calif. – The safety of Oakland Raiders rookies, Johnathan Abram, this year's 27th overall draft pick, will undergo a shoulder operation and will likely miss the rest of the season, announced Wednesday. coach Jon Gruden.

Abram was injured in the first quarter of the Raiders' 24-16 win over the Denver Broncos on Monday night.
