According to NFL analyst Jimmy Garoppolo is about to win the course

Regarding the 49ers' recent draft class, Nick Bosa became "The Choice" with No. 2 pick after Arizona, with Kyler Murray taking the lead, as expected, in first place.

Mike Renner of Pro Football Focus wrote that Bosa was indeed a no brainer, and most of us can agree. But he also mentioned in his article that the rest of the 49ers' class is extremely beneficial for quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo.

After Bosa, the 49ers took the receivers with their two following choices: they selected Deebo Samuel (South Carolina) in the second round and Jalen Hurd of Baylor in the third.

Let's start with Deebo Samuel.

Renner wrote that, despite the fact that this choice is perceived as a difficult decision to make, he is "a good runner with a legitimate ability to break tack after take". Renner added that he had broken 21 tackles last year, making it the fifth highest total in the country. (!!!)

He described Jalen Hurd's third round choice of "scratching his head". However, Renner had some good things to say about Hurd, as converting the Baylor product into a wide receiver was softer than expected.

Renner spoke about the selections at NBC Sports Bay Area and said, "Jalen Hurd and Deebo Samuel will make Jimmy's life easier as they are able to create something from scratch after the shot."

Who does not like that?

Jimmy G is about to return from his injury at the ACL, which ended the season last year. Rehabilitation has been difficult, but he is launching again and is ahead of schedule, which is encouraging for him and everyone else involved.

"Their hopes are obviously based on a certain Jimmy G, but John Lynch and the company have done a great job in preparing their franchise quarterback for success," Renner wrote in his article.

I think the saying goes, "I'm scratching your quarterback, scratching mine."

This is not the saying never say that. But it's nice to see that the 49ers care about the best interest of their QB by bringing offensive weapons that will help them shine.
