According to New Jersey police, 10 people were injured as a result of a shooting in a Trenton bar.

Authorities say the police were informed of a shot at around 12:25 pm Saturday in front of a bar at Block 300 of Brunswick Avenue. The agents on arrival found several victims in and around the unidentified bar.

Captain Stephen Varn, spokesman for the Trenton police, said five men and five women had been transported to local hospitals. He added that one victim had been seriously injured and had to undergo emergency surgery.

Varn said that an investigation was underway.

City Councilman Jerell Blakeley said on Facebook: "This kind of carnage should not be normal, but it is becoming commonplace, and every time the weather is mild, madness falls on this city. city."
