Michigan State interim president, Satish Udpa, was hospitalized after appearing on stage at a graduation ceremony on Friday.
"Interim President Satish Udpa had a health incident this afternoon at MSU's graduation ceremony, receiving medical attention and all members of the Spartan community have Lalita (his wife) and his family in our thoughts and prayers, "MSU spokeswoman Emily Guerrant said by email.
As of Friday night, there is no update on the state of Udpa.
