Indonesian developer Ozysoft, the team behind psychological horror Madness at home (which is available on Steam) today announced Project Buramato, an all-new action-adventure platformer with PS5, Xbox Series X, PS4, Xbox One, PC and Switch versions slated for release in late 2022.
Project Buramato draws its thematic influences and artistic style from Bornean Folktales and, judging by its trailer – which you can check out above – there’s a lot of Genshin Impact and Xenoblade in the mix here as well.
According to the developer, this 3D action shooter / platformer is fast-paced, played from a third-person perspective with minimal storytelling and a focus on the atmosphere.
With a prototype alpha demo slated for release later this year, Project Buramato certainly looks promising from its trailer and we already can’t wait to jump in here to explore the semi-open environments of the Land of Ancient Lords.
Does Project Buramato look like your cup of tea? Let us know in the comments.
