Activision unveils first trailer for “Call of Duty: Vanguard”

Activision officially announced Call of Duty: The Vanguard, the next title to land in the popular first-person shooter video game franchise, with a new trailer on Monday.

The first visual opens with images flying over the demolition of several WWII battles. The video cuts between an empty sniper nest, a desert battlefield, a German forest and a messy beach, presenting the various maps present in the new game. Each location hints at characters that will be part of the game. with faces appearing in different parts of each landscape.

The trailer suggests that Avant-garde will encompass the four World War II theaters: European Theater, Eastern Front, Mediterranean / North Africa and Pacific Theater.

While not much is currently known about the gameplay, players will receive a first look at Avant-garde during its global reveal inside Call of Duty: War Zone, the franchise’s free-to-play battle royale game, on August 19 at 1:30 p.m. EDT.

Call of Duty: The Vanguard is developed by Sledgehammer Games, the same entity behind Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Call of Duty: WWII.

Elsewhere in the gaming world, the official Pokémon Brilliant diamond and Shiny pearl The reveal of the remake will take place on August 18.
