Hello from the cover of Vogue.

As she prepares to release new music for the first time since 2015, Adele is covering not one, but two issues of Vogue.

Marking her first interviews in five years, the 33-year-old “Someone Like You” singer topped the November editions of British and American Vogue, donning a slew of glamorous looks for the trendy spread duo.

As well as sporting a bright yellow corset dress by Vivienne Westwood on the cover, the star slipped into a slew of retro emblems for British gloss history – from Helen Yarmak feather drops to all lace up in a black corset. Dolce & Gabbana.

Edward Enninful, editor-in-chief of British Vogue, wrote that the looks – which were paired with equally eye-catching retro glamor – were meant to be “timeless.”

Adele modeled more modern clothing for the American side of the historic collaboration, including a larger-than-life green Valentino Haute Couture gown for the cover photo.

The star opened up about her dramatic weight loss in accompanying interviews – it wasn’t about losing weight, she said, but more about getting back in shape.

“It has become my time“Adele told American Vogue about her gym workouts.” I realized when I worked out I didn’t have any anxiety. It was never about losing weight. I had to lose weight. thought, if I can make my body physically strong, and I can feel it and see it, then maybe one day I can make my emotions and my mind physically strong.

The singer also said she was “disappointed” by the “brutal conversations” from women about her changing physique. “I understand why some women in particular have been injured. Visually, I represented a lot of women. But I’m still the same person, ”she shared.

And Adele’s appearance isn’t the only thing that has changed for her upcoming album, which follows her divorce from Simon Konecki (the father of her 8-year-old son Angelo) and the start of her relationship with her NBA agent boyfriend, Rich Paul.

“I was drunk as a fart on the 21st; “I really don’t remember much,” she said of her successful 2011 album. “I just remember being really sad. On the 25th, I was obviously sober like everything else, because I was a new mother. This one, I was sort of more in tune with what I thought people might want or not want.

But what about the next LP? Adele told the Fashion Bible: “With this one, I made a very conscious decision to say to myself, for the first time in my life, in fact, ‘What do I want? “”
