Adele has filed for divorce from long-time partner Simon Konecki five months after announcing their separation. The filing took place in California, where the 31-year-old British singer and 45-year-old Konecki have a house, the guardian reports. Adele and Konecki, who got married in 2016, met for the first time in 2011. Their son, Angelo, was born in 2012. In a statement released after the separation, his representatives said the two men "have committed to raising their son together with love ". A source tells US Weekly that "their relationship has evolved and they have become more like friends than lovers". "They are disappointed, but it simply did not work," says the insider.
